Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Academy of Brooklyn is a K-8 private Catholic elementary and middle school located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Established on September 9, 1903, by Father John B. Daily with permission from Bishop McDonell, the school began its journey with 449 students under the name St. Alphonsus School, in honor of the founder of the Redemptorists (St. Alphonsus School). The school was renamed Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Academy in 1917. Today, it serves approximately 180 students.

The enrollment has decreased at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Academy tremendously since its inception. According to the website, by 1910, enrollment was around 1,200 students, but more recently there is approximately 180 students enrolled.
