Saint Elizabeth School

Saint Elizabeth School in Washington Heights has been welcoming students since 1936. The Catholic school is rooted in the values of hope, love, and trust. Additional, the school believes in providing a nurturing environment for students to reach their full potential. With a strong curriculum that evolved to meet the needs of a diverse and ever changing community, Saint Elizabeth School fosters academic achievement alongside the development of Gospel- rooted attitudes, beliefs, and habits. As a family-like community, parents, teachers, administration,church and staff all play an active role in the growth and development of the students. Following a fire in 1947, the school rebuilt and relocated to its current location 1949, where it continues to serve families in Washington Heights with dedication and excellence. For over 80 years, Saint Elizabeth School has remained committed to molding students into scholars, embracing the missing to nurture the whole person in mind, body, and spirit.
